Where Dr. Pamer comes from
Dr. Pamer is a second-generation chiropractor. He grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, where his father practiced chiropractic, so he learned early that this is work built on relationships. He studied chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001, and he has been in practice ever since, with 25 years of chiropractic experience.
He practiced in Erie, Pennsylvania, for 11 years before moving to the Akron area, and he founded Pamer Chiropractic Health Center in Akron in October 2015. Since then, the clinic has served patients from Akron, Green, North Canton, Uniontown, Portage Lakes, and communities across Summit, Stark, and Medina counties.
One thing patients notice quickly: people call him Dr. Andy. He does not mind at all; the practice runs on first-name comfort and straight talk.
Why he became a chiropractor
Growing up around his father's chiropractic office showed him what the work actually looks like: listening to people, finding the source of the problem, and watching bodies respond to sensible care. That is still the job, decades later.
He has been in chiropractic practice since 2001, and the practice completes 36 hours of continuing education every two years and regularly attends chiropractic seminars. Staying current is part of the job, not an afterthought.
