Frequently asked question

Is spinal decompression painful?

Most people find spinal decompression sessions comfortable. The table stretches the spine gently, and the motion is adjusted to your tolerance, so you are never pushed through discomfort.

Patients often describe the session as relaxing, like a slow, supported stretch. During a flare-up, the very first sessions may be adjusted to a milder setting until you settle in.

If anything feels wrong during a session, Dr. Pamer adjusts the table or stops, full stop. You remain in control at every visit.
